'With Jesus, we learn as a joyful family and flourish to be the best that we can be'
In Southworth Class some of us are going to take it in turns to write a Blog of what we have been doing in Class.
Southworth Class have been very excited that Christmas is almost here, but we have been working hard not to get giddy, when we opened our advent calendars today.
On Wednesday we went to Mass, we met our new priest called Father Mark. He was like Father George but a bit different, we are looking forward to having another Mass with Father Mark.
This week we have been planning our own chapter about Oliver Twist, and today we wrote our first chunk.
In Maths we have been looking at fractions. We have added and taken away fractions, looking at mixed numbers and improper fractions, at first we thought it was hard but now we find it quiet easy.
In art we have been drawing 3D fruits as a still life picture. It was hard doing 3D!
We're looking forward to watching the infants do the Nativity tomorrow, we thought it was going to be next week, but Mr Lowe just told us!
On Monday someone accidentally hit Mr Lowe's fingers with a hockey stick, he said it was very painful and now he has a lumpy hand. But he did bring in some Cadbury Fingers in for our hard work, but one of them was broken - like Mr Lowe's finger!
English we tasted gruel (it was horrible),Mr Lowe is a disgusting cooker.
Maths we have been learning about fractions.
PE we have been using spring boards. Also hokey.
Topic we learned about Biomes, with different climates and wildlife.
