Benedict - Reception/Yr 1

Saint Benedict

St. Benedict was a religious reformer who lived in Italy in the late 400s and early 500s. He is the patron saint of Europe.

During his life, Saint Benedict performed many miracles. He found water on a desolate mountaintop to quench the thirst of his monks.  In addition, he made Maurus walk on water to save the young Placidus from drowning

In the 'Class Photos' folder you will find photographs of our learning and exciting times together.

A few things to remember:

  • Bring your reading books into school every day and put them into your group's box as soon as you arrive.
  • Bring your PE kits in in the first week and keep them on your peg. We will send them home every half term to be washed. Please make sure your P.E kit, including pumps, has your name on. Our P.E days are Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Please make sure that all school uniform and PE kit is clearly named.

If you have any other questions, then please do not hesitate to speak to one of us or contact the school office.

Thank you for your continued support,
