Black History Month

We studied Rosa Parks as part of our learning in our biographies unit and during Black History Month. We explored terms like 'segregation' 'justice' and 'equality'. We used drama, hot seating, questioning and artwork to understand Rosa Parks and her significance. 

 

The children were curious, asked thoughtful questions and used their enquiry skills to find out more about her life.
