Blessed John Finch
Martyred 30th April 1534
John Finch was born about 1548. He was a yeoman of Eccleston, Lancashire, from a Catholic family, but brought up an Anglican. When he was twenty years old he went to London where he spent nearly a year with some cousins at Inner Temple. While there he was struck by the contrast between Protestantism and Catholicism in practice, and determined to lead a Catholic life. He later returned to Lancashire where he was reconciled to the Catholic Church.

Arrangements for arriving at school in September
As your child is in Key Stage 1, your child will be attending school between the hours of 9.15am and 3.15pm. Children and/or parents and carers should plan to arrive at school no earlier than 9.00am and should make their way straight into the school building.
Please enter the school premises from the back where the footpath from church brings you to or if entering from the main road, please follow the footpath to the left and access the building through the gates onto the Key Stage 1 playground.
Finch class will enter the building through the back door into the Key Stage 1 hall and will leave the premises at 3.15pm through the same doors they entered school.
