'With Jesus, we learn as a joyful family and flourish to be the best that we can be'

Friday 25th June

LO: To use time conjunctions.

Think back to our half term. Imagine we are going for a day out. Imagine we couldn’t get there on time because something happened in the morning, what could it be?

Make a list of time conjunctions that you could use in your recount.

Have a look at the plan I have attached to write your own recount.

LO: To count in 2's, 5's and 10's.

Write your 2, 5 and 10 times tables out.

Do you notice patterns. Complete the sheet I have attached.

LO: To describe how Jesus taught his friends to be good neighbours

Read Mark 6: 30-32, Jesus and his friends, God’s Story 2 page 66.Jesus and his friend.

Have a look at the power point about Raphael's bike and answer the questions.

  1. What makes a good neighbour?
  2. In what ways did Jesus’ friends show they were good neighbours?
  3. How is Raphael being a good neighbour?
  4. How can you be a good neighbour?
  5. Jesus taught his friends to be good neighbours. We can work with CAFOD to be good neighbours by sharing and caring for others. How did CAFOD help our global neighbours in Uganda?
