L.O: To recall the events of the Last Supper
Watch the powerpoint on 'The Last Supper' and read the extract from Luke's gospel. There is also a drawing of Jesus with his disciples for you to look at and talk about. Answer these questions verbally with your grown up..
The Last Supper was the night before Jesus died and what Jesus said to his disciples was very important. This is why, ever since then, Jesus’ friends have met together to celebrate the Eucharist in thanksgiving as they remember him and do again what he told them to do. Another name for the celebration of the Eucharist is Mass.
Task-
Either draw a picture of Jesus at the The Last Supper and use speech bubbles to show what Jesus is saying to his disciples or retell the story of The Last Supper. Try to include what happened. what Jesus knew and said. Also include how the disciples might have been feeling.
