'With Jesus, we learn as a joyful family and flourish to be the best that we can be'

Maths

This week's maths focus:  Telling time and time problems

In our usual maths lessons, you spend approximately 35 minutes working on your calculations or problems.  Please try to spend the same amount of time on your tasks at home each day.

On Fridays, you will complete word problems.  It may help you to rewrite the problem in your red home learning book so that you can sort out the details more clearly.

Strategies for solving word problems that we have used in class this year:

Look for a Pattern

Use Logical Reasoning

Create a Table

Draw a Picture

Guess and Check

Work Backwards

Make a Diagram

Use Objects or Act It Out

The answers are included so that you can check your own work.  Please stay honest and do the work yourself before you peek at the answer sheet.
