The website has a huge range of books to choose from and some of them are audio books so you can even listen to them if you wish. Our class code is law7246

Ask an adult to read out these words so you can spell them 3 times and then put them into a sentence.

Main Task:

Today we are going to box-up some instructions and make a plan. You will look at how each section of instructions is structured and set out.

EXT:

Can you think of 5 adjectives to describe your magic hat, magic clothes or magic shoes?

Phonics:

Go onto phonics play and look at phase 5. Play flashcards speed trial on phase 3 and 5A and then you can choose some other games.

Can you think of some words that have the sounds 'wh' and 'ph'?

Mental Maths Starter:

How many 2p's are there in 8p? How do you know?

Main Task:

Today we are looking at multiplication and our money work from last week is going to help us. Remember that multiplication is just repeated addition so 2x5 is the same as 2+2+2+2+2. We are looking at doubling and halving numbers today.

LO: To describe what happens at Mass
Today we are starting a new topic, 'Meals'. Talk to an adult about a special meal that you have had, it might have been at a birthday party, Christmas, First Communion or Baptism celebration.

Think about:

• When might you have a special meal?
• What makes a meal special?
• Who was there?
• Who prepared the meal?
• What did you share?
• How did you help?
• What did you like best about it?
• How did it make you feel?

Now have a go at designing your own special meal. This could be a family meal, a birthday celebration, Christmas, Easter...

Remember to include words around your picture.

Can you write 2 sentences using a conjunction to explain why you chose this special meal and why you chose this celebration?
