'With Jesus, we learn as a joyful family and flourish to be the best that we can be'
English
LO; To make predictions
Today in English we are starting to look at the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. Look at the picture of the Beanstalk and think about what you might find at the top. Write in sentences and start by using 'I predict' or 'I think' and tell me what you would like to find at the top of the beanstalk and why. Try to use a conjunction in your sentence. For example, 'I predict there will be a giant at the top of the beanstalk but he might be scary!'

LO: To recognise the changing seasons
In Science we are starting a new topic and looking at how the seasons change. Talk to an adult about what you know about the different seasons and what happens in each season: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter. Our topic is plants.
Write down 3 sentences about what you already know about plants. Do you know how plants grow? Where do plants get their food from? What do plants need to help them grow? Try to extend your sentences by using conjunctions.
Then write down 2 sentences about what you want to find out about plants. Can plants grow anywhere? What are the different types of plants?
Ext: Can you draw and label the parts of a plant?
