'With Jesus, we learn as a joyful family and flourish to be the best that we can be'

Monday 30th November

Hello children. Hope you all had a nice weekend smiley

You will be continuing our theme of "Stories with historical settings" and looking at Oliver Twist for English this week before starting our writing phase.

In maths, I have uploaded the using and applying sheet we would have done in class today. Give it your best go. If you are finding it difficult, generate your own numbers like we did in class on Friday and practise the bus stop method of division.

I have sent you some 2-Dos on Purple Mash for guided reading. Linking to our historical setting theme, It's set in 1940 and Kat has spent a weekend 'playing' at being a spy. But without warning she's approached about a real mission. I have also uploaded on the Guided Reading page, accompanying grammar and comprehension sheets that go with each chapter for each day that you can download.

Each day, you will also have an afternoon subject to complete. Activities for RE, Art and Music will be uploaded for you to have your best go at.

Keep practising and learning your spellings in your homework books please!

If you have any questions please message me on Purple Mash smiley

Miss you already!
