LO: To identify rhyming words
Can you ask an adult to read out these words so you can spell them out three times and then write each word into a sentence.
Can you write down some words that rhyme with the word 'ball'.
Look back to the rhyme you chose yesterday, listen to it again on the website and ask an adult to help you to read the lyrics. Today you are going to have a go at writing a verse based on this rhyme and change some of the words to your own. Think about which words are repeated and which words rhyme. I have linked some rhymes below to help you.
Draw a picture of the character or background of your rhyme. Can you write a super sentence to describe your picture.
Go onto phonics play and play Acorn Adventures on phase 5. Select the graphemes ie, ea and er. Then choose some other phase 5 games.
LO: To use arrays to solve problems
Mental Maths Starter:
Georgia has 25 sweets which she wants to share between 5 friends. How many sweets will each person get?
Today we are looking at arrays again and drawing the groups out to consolidate our learning.
