LO: To add suffixes to words

GPS Starter:

Can you write an exclamation sentence of something the character in your story would say. Remember to use the correct punctuation!

Main Task:

Today we are going to be adding the suffixes '-ing' and '-ed' to words so we can use these words in our story.

EXT: Can you put some of these words into sentences using a conjunction.

Phonics:

Go onto phonics play and look at phase 5. Play Acorn Adventures and select the grapheme 'ea' and then you can choose some other games.

Maths:

LO: To compare mass using non-standard measures

Can you find the missing numbers?

Main Task

LO: To make observational drawings

I have attached the picture of Monet's famous footbridge drawing. Have a look at the detail on the bridge and tell an adult what you can see.

Have a go at drawing the bridge twice. The first time draw lightly and the second time draw it again adding detail, shade and tone.

EXT: Can you write me a sentence to tell me what you like about your drawing and why. Then write me a sentence to tell me how you could make your drawing even better.
