L.O: To write a traditional tale with a twist.
Today we are doing our "hot write" about Little Red Riding Hood. You are going to write the whole story, changing your setting and your baddie character, like your story plan. Remember to use correct punctuation, adjectives and a simile if you can. when you have finished, reread your story and check you are happy with it.

Mental Maths starter:
Practise halving these numbers:-
4, 10, 2, 6, 8, 14, 20, 16, 12, 18. Practise them so you can halve them quickly and say them straight away.

Use the challenge cards and solve some words problems involving fractions.
Art
In class we have been using clay to make sculptures of our bodies (linked to our science work.) If you have some plasticine or play dough at home, have a go at sculpting a human figure. Think about how are limbs join our bodies and where they bend (from our art work and sketching.) If you don't have any plasticine, have a look on the internet for some images of sculptures of the human body. you could have a go at sketching them!
