Immediate Engagement: Draw and describe your own character for your own traditional story. 

You can choose to describe your character using 5 adjectives (describing words) or 2 super sentences. 


LO: To write a story.  

We have been looking at the traditional story 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. 

Today, you are going to plan your own story. It will be really similar to Jack and the Beanstalk, but will have your own character instead of Jack. 

Today, write the first and second part of your story. You can write straight into your books or you can use the story plan below.

Look at the 'Coin Reveal' PowerPoint below and then use what you have learned to complete the coin ordering sheet.

Topic: Art and Design

LO: To draw/paint with skill.

This half term we are going to be looking at the artist Claude Monet. 

Look at the picture of Monet's paining 'Japanese Footbridge over the Water-lily Pond in Giverny'.


Using your paints/ colours/pencils at home, have a go at drawing your own version of this picture.
