LO: To describe a character

 

Immediate Engagement:

Look at the picture of Jack and think of some adjectives you could use to describe him. 

 

 

Main Task

Watch the youtube video from yesterday's lesson and write down 5 adjectives to describe Jack. 

Write down 4 sentences using these adjectives to describe Jack. Don't forget your capital letters and full stops.

Try to use conjunctions to extend your sentences.

Tell an adult what you notice about each of the patterns. Are the numbers odd or even? Does the tens number change or the units number? Have a look if you can find any number patterns at home.

LO: To draw plants and flowers in detail

 

This term we are looking at the artist Claude Monet. Today we are going to be looking at different flowers. Have a look round your house and in your garden at different flowers (it might be difficult at this time of year because of the weather so you might want to google some pictures of plants and flowers instead!)

 

Find a picture and sketch it, adding detail and tone.
