Science:
LO: To recognise what is needed for plant growth
In Science we are looking at growing cress. We were going to grow some cress in school so if you want to do this at home please send me some pictures!
Watch the video of the cress time lapse and look at how many hours it takes the cress to grow.
Think about what we talked about last week in school about what a plant needs to grow and tell an adult how the cress is growing.
Draw some pictures of the cress at different stages of growth, starting from the seed and ending at the cress. Under your pictures, write down the time of each stage (e.g. how many hours).
EXT: Have you ever seen or eaten cress before? Write some adjectives to describe what cress looks and tastes like. It would be great if you could put your adjectives into a sentence using a conjunction!
