Immediate Engagement: Explore position and direction.

With your grown up, explore position and direction at home. Can you guide your grown up around the room with simple instructions? For example, take two steps forward, turn left, take three steps forward, turn right.

 

LO: To find half of a quantity.

In this lesson we will be finding one half of a quantity by splitting the whole into two equal parts.

Look at the life cycle of a bean Power Points 1 and 2.  Discuss the power points and share ideas with your grown up.

Watch the ‘Bean Time Lapse’ video clip (remember that this process happened over a long period of time).

 

Next, complete the bean plant life cycle activity below.
