Visit from Mr Turner
Mr Turner, a parishioner, school governor and former student of the school, visited the children in Rigby to talk to them about how Bamber Bridge and the school has changed since he was a child growing up in the local area. The children generated questions to ask him about what life was like growing up in an era where food and other essentials were rationed. The children were amazed by what they were told and enjoyed looking at the items Mr Turner brought in for them to see.
