Focus: World War Two – Explore what life was life for people in Britain in World war two.

This week focuses on the start of the war and what life was like for evacuees.

Today we are going to explore why children were evacuated and what life was like for them by reading from these two sources. Jot down anything that interests you:

Activity:

Based on what you have read and watched, use Purple Mash to:

  1. Write a letter to your parents as an evacuee about your new life.
  2. Write a postcard as if you are an evacuee.

If you would like, you can have a go at both!

I can’t wait to read these.
