LO: To use comprehension skills

As we have been reading the story of Hansel and Gretal, we are going to answer some questions to show our understanding. Read the text and then answer the questions. Remember, the answers are always in the text so make sure you go back to look.

Maths:
To compare measurements

Today we are going to draw lines with a ruler starting at 0cm. Use the ruler from the sheet I attached yesterday.

Draw these lines in cm.

What do you notice about the lines?

Art:

LO: To use colours for emotions

Today you are going to re-create your self-portraits but this time you are going to use colour. Look at Picasso’s pictures and talk about the colours he used. Why did he use these colours? Which colours do you think represent happiness and which colours do you think represent sadness or any other emotions?

Have a go at doing this.
