'With Jesus, we learn as a joyful family and flourish to be the best that we can be'

Wednesday 27th January

Immediate Engagement: Record three questions for your grown up.

Don't forget to use capital letters, finger spaces and question marks in the right places.

LO: To write a set of instructions.

In this lesson, we will be writing the main part of our recycled set of instructions.

This week we will be revising Phase 3 sounds ure, air and ear.

Please visit PhonicsPlay to access games focusing on these sounds. You could play Picnic on Pluto, Dragon's Den or Buried Treasure.

You could also play Tricky Word Trucks!

**If your child is more confident, please use the PhonicsPlay website to explore games and resources for Phase 4 and Phase 5.**

Immediate Engagement: Count in 2's to 20, in 5's to 50 and in 10's to 100.

LO: To position numbers to 20 on a number line.

In this lesson you will position numbers on a number line in order and justify your decision.

Please click on the link below.

LO: To use Purple Mash effectively.

LO: To be aware of online safety.

I have set a 2Do on Purple Mash about identity. The 2Do helps you to create a poster all about you and the things that make you special.

While you are using Purple Mash, talk to your grown up about how to be safe when you are using the computer. Think about:

  • signing in and out carefully
  • saving your work
  • how important it is to keep your username and password private (so that other people don't log on to your account).
