'With Jesus, we learn as a joyful family and flourish to be the best that we can be'
Practise counting forwards and backwards in 2s. Don't always start at 0.
Watch the powerpoint on money. Today, we are going to think about making amounts. Remember what the coins are- 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2. Tell your grown up why 3p coin isn't on our list!
L.O: To make different amounts with coins.
I want you to draw the coins to make the following amounts. For example:- 8p- you could draw 2p, 2p, 2p and 2p. Remember at school we write the number first then draw the circle around the number to make it look like a coin. There is more than one way to make the amounts, it doesn't matter which one you choose, as long as you make the correct total with coins. Try as many of these as you can. I want you all to do at least the first 6.
1. Make 6p
Please can you complete the maths reasoning paper.Start at question 5 and stop at question 18. Just have a go and try to think back to things we have learnt in class. Again, this is instead of the above work on money but you are more than welcome to do both if you want!
