Blessed William Marsden
Blessed William Marsden gave his life heroically on the Isle of Wight in 1586, after being shipwrecked there due to a thunderstorm at sea. He was heard praying and as a result, arrested for treason. He became a martyr after spending time in prison and his execution warned others that it was treason to become a priest on the Isle of Wight, encouraging them to travel to England thereafter.
Doors are opened at 8.45am for the children to make their own way into the classroom.
Marsden classroom door can be found on the KS2 playground, opposite the trim trail.
Home time is 3.15pm.
