School Uniform

We believe that wearing school uniform is part of what we expect in order to be a member of our school community. We enforce this because we believe that it helps pupils to feel a part of this school. Although branded items can be purchased through the school office, we are happy for children to wear non-branded items. Also, where we have pre-loved uniform this will be made available to other parents to help make education as economical as possible for all.

In KS1, our uniform is:

  • a white polo shirt,
  • a red cardigan/jumper
  • a navy blue skirt/pair of trousers
  • a pair of school shoes (not trainers or boots)

For PE, our uniform is:

  • a white T-shirt
  • red cardigan/jumper
  • navy blue PE shorts.
  • black pumps

In KS1, pupils are asked to come to school in full school uniform everyday and get changed into their PE kit in school. We do this to assist with pupil's independence and self-care. PE kits will stay in school and be sent home at half-term and end of term holidays.

Also, earrings are not permitted and longer hair should be tied back or tied up please.

A hair band should be a plain 'Alice' band please.

In KS2, our uniform is:

  • a white polo shirt,
  • a red cardigan/jumper
  • a navy blue knee-length skirt/pair of trousers
  • a pair of school shoes (not trainers or boots)

For PE, our uniform is:

  • a white T-shirt
  • red cardigan/jumper
  • navy blue PE shorts (or navy blue joggers during cooler weather)
  • black pumps or trainers

Pupils in KS2 should come to school wearing PE kit on the days that they have PE. This is publicised clearly, in class and on the class web pages.

Please can we make sure that our children's PE shorts are not too tight or too short?

Also, earrings are not permitted and longer hair should be tied back or tied up.

A hair band should be a plain 'Alice' band please.

Whilst trainers can we worn to/from school, if your child is cycling, we do expect him/her to change into school shoes once they enter the building.
