Spring Walk, by Mrs Burgess

The children in Beesley Class went on a walk around the school environment looking for signs of Spring. The children explored Forest School and saw lots of daffodils, some blossom and green leaves on the trees and lots of flower buds around. We noticed some bees around and found a couple of ladybirds on the leaves. The children had their photographs taken infront of our class tree to explore the changes since September (from our Autumn walk) and in January (from our Winter walk) We also looked at how the children have changed (grown)since starting school in September.

Library Visit, by Ms Patel

The children were visited by Caroline from the library service. She spoke to the children about her job at the library service and the children worked together to choose a new class novel. They ended up choosing Loki- a bad god's guide to causing chaos!
Library Visit - Woodcock, by Mrs Aitken

Woodcock class enjoyed a visit from Caroline from the library. The children were very excited to see the books she brought with her and voted on which sounded the best.
Dead Yard Seeds of Doom by P J Killburn was the winner. We now have a list of children waiting to read the book!
