Today the children have started to look at the text ' Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see?' by Eric Carle the children then has a go at creating their own version. The children orally retold their own version using repeated refrains from the original text.

Some of the year 3 and 4 children took part in a dodgeball competition at Lostock Hall High School along with 9 other local primary schools.
In their group the children came first! Well done SMSB, here they are with coach Chris and some of their medals!
