As part of their 'reading' phase of the story 'Puss In Boots' the children interviewed each other pretending to be different characters so that they understand the characters' thoughts, feeling and motives behind actions taken in the story.

The children worked in groups to focus on buildings, clothes, medicine and food across different time periods and put photos in chronological order to learn how things have changed from The Great Plague till now.

On Monday the children in Beesley Class supported Children in Need by coming to school wearing something spotty or yellow. The children have been learning about the charity Children In Need and what the money is raised for. The children took part in a range of different Pudsey related activities throughout the day. At lunchtime the children enjoyed a Pudsey Picnic.

Scavenger hunt for number 2!, by Mrs Burgess

The children in Beesley Class have been exploring the composition of the number 2. The children have been learning the stem sentence "1 and another 1 is 2." The children then went on a scavenger hunt to find 2 of certain objects. We had lots of fun exploring number 2!

In D.T, the children designed and created torches that could be used in forest school. They used previous learning from science to help create a successful product.

The children worked in groups to invent their own product that cannot be found in any shops. They linked it to their explanation topic in English to explain to the members of the Dragon's Den how the inventions work and to convince them to invest in their product.
